I currently live in Brazil and am a technical software leader at Mercado Libre, the main commerce platform electronics in Latin America.

Trajectory

In 1999, after getting my first computer, I received some WebDesign books from a friend, where I started studying HTML and JavaScript. I started playing around with MS FrontPage creating my first pages, and I had no idea that this would be the start of my journey into the world of development.

After understanding HTML a little and creating some static sites, I realized that it was possible to have something more dynamic, in other words, a site with an access counter, a guestbook and polls. It was then that I discovered classic ASP and then PHP, and this was a revolution for me! At this point I also had my first contacts with Linux, setting up Apache, Bind9, Exim, Postfix, iptables, on servers rented from ThePlanet.

During my internship in 2003, I got to know ASP.NET while developing a project for the Official Gazette of the State of Espírito Santo. Later, in 2005, I had the opportunity to work with Java on projects for ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel producer.

In 2010, motivated by an entrepreneurial dream, I founded Zorpe, a company dedicated to web and mobile software development. Over the course of 10 years, I have experienced an incredible journey, listening to clients needs, proposing customized solutions and developing SaaS products. This phase was crucial to my professional growth, as I participated in the entire software development cycle.

After my entrepreneurial journey, I returned to the corporate world, eager for new challenges and sharing the baggage accumulated over the years.
